ER & Trauma
“Traditional ultrasound is limited by it’s inability to see through and around obstacles such as bone, air, and metal. This video demonstrates MAUI’s K3900 successfully imaging through the skull and into the cranial vault, showing it’s unique ability to overcome traditional limitations.”

and Interventional Pulmonology, and is advised by innovators in science and technology.
MAUI and the US Department of Defense
In Q4, 2023, when MAUI received FDA clearance, it entered into an expansive contract with the DoD to assess its military applications “In The Field”.
This award was the result of multiple test programs and demonstrates confidence by the US military in MAUI’s ability to provide a superior solution for evaluating traumatic injuries in austere environments. Some of the test areas include use of MAUI after traumatic injuries in remote or small places (e.g., on a naval vessel where CT is unavailable) The DoD is looking at using MAUI at scale for use to diagnose, triage and monitor patients.
A Safe & Easy to Use Solution
MAUI’s breakthrough imaging solution, which is capable of safely seeing through and around barriers, aims to aid physicians in effective, timely, patient diagnostics and real-time procedure guidance to improve clinical outcomes and save lives.
